Whether you’re catching the Lego Exhibition before it leaves town, or travelling in for the Sidney LitFest, the warmer weather is not the only thing you have to look forward to in the coming months!

Lego Exhibition

Don’t miss out - ending soon on March 31 is the Lego Exhibition at the Sidney Museum! If you’re a lego lover, this free event is a must-see during your trip. The exhibit celebrates 60 years of Lego imagination, with the star of the show being dozens of Star Wars themed Lego models. If that wasn’t enough, hundreds of Lego models will also be on display including a Hogwarts Castle from the Harry Potter series and a lego model of the Bugatti Chiron automobile. The museum is open daily from 10am to 4pm, and more information about the exhibit can be found on the Sidney Museum website

Psychic and Spiritual Arts Fair

If you’re in Victoria on Saturday, March 23, 2019 - it’s a sign. Or just good timing to visit the Psychic and Spiritual Arts Fair taking place at the Mary Winspear Centre. Get lost and found among various vendors of psychic readers, mediums, tarot readers, spiritual jewelry, rocks and gems, gifts and much more. Starting at 10am, immerse yourself in a new experience for only $5.

Sidney LitFest 2019

If you’re a book lover this event is for you. The 2019 Sidney LitFest will run from April 11 to 14 and feature 16 Canadian authors at various events including panel discussions, readings and writing workshops. This is your chance, whether a reader or a writer, to explore authors you may not have read yet and books you have yet to love, all while being seaside. For a full calendar of events and to purchase tickets, visit the Sidney Literary Festival website

Make the most out of your journey in Victoria by staying nearby and cutting down on travel time. Quality Inn Waddling Dog is located near Sidney and Victoria International Airport. It also offers a nice change of scenery with its antique-style furnishings (perfect for sitting down with one of your finds from the LitFest) and is pet-friendly so no one is left behind.
